Kate was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended American University (AU) in Washington DC, where she studied a variety of subjects. Afterwards, she went on to study at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) and New York University (NYU), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production and Theory.
After completing her studies, Kate began her career in Styling and Costume Design, working on feature films, commercials, and music videos. As a member of the Costume Designers Guild, Local 892, she is part of a community of professionals who work to ensure that the costumes and wardrobe of actors and performers accurately reflect the time period, setting, and character of a production.
Kate currently lives in Los Angeles with her two children and continues to work in the film industry, using her creative talents to bring characters to life through their costumes and wardrobe.
Kate is a member of the Costume Designers Guild, Local 892.
